Congress has 2 groups in J&K

In a rally in parade ground Jammu headed by deputy CM Tara Chand, Ghulam Nabi azad praised Mahatma Gandhi for his contribution to this world. He reminded people that American president Obama on his visit to India said "I would not have been president of America if Mahatama gandhi had not existed."
Approximately 20-25 thousand people were at the rally including chowdhary Lal Singh, Tourism minister Rinzing Zora, Minister Haj & aquaf Ejaz khan, Ex minister Saroori, Ex minister Majid Wani, Ex minister Gulchain Singh Charak,Ex minister Garu Ram, Ex MP Janak Raj Gupta, MLC BR Kundal, Ex MlA Bhalwan Singh, MlA Niaz, MlC Wakil, MLC Ashok Sharma and Rani Balowria.

Congress has 2 groups in J&K

Congress now has two gropus in J&K. One is headed by Saif-ud-din-Soz and the other is headed by Gulam Nabi Azad. MP Jammu-Poonch Madan lal held a rally in roop nagar area of Jammu. Health minister Shyam lal, Revenue minister Raman Bhalla, MLC Ravinder Sharma, MLC Amrit Malhotra. Ex minister Mula Ram, Ex minister Manjit Singh, Ex MLA Om Chopra, Ex Mla Shivdeep Singh, Ex MP Dharampal singh, Thakur Hari singh, J&K labor cell head Hari singh chib of Paloura were present there. There was a gathering of 10-12 thousand people till 12:40pm. Another rally headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad is taking place in parade ground Jammu. We will keep you updated.

Press conference by DGP Kuldeep Khooda

In a press conference in Jammu, DGP police Kuldeep Khooda said 2010 was one of the most challenging years for police but Police successfully overcame all the obstacles. Militancy related incidents of 499 were the lowest ever in the 21 years of militancy in the state and 22 top commanders were eliminated by the police last year.
